Last updated: May 24, 2026
These Terms explain the rules for using SchoolGPT. By using SchoolGPT, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
Who can use SchoolGPT
SchoolGPT is for adult educators and school staff. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into these Terms. You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your login credentials secure.
What SchoolGPT provides
SchoolGPT provides AI tools for teacher workflows such as lesson planning, quizzes, rubrics, grading support, parent communication, worksheets, IEP support drafts, and classroom materials.
AI outputs are drafts. You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and deciding whether content is accurate, appropriate, and aligned with your classroom, school policy, and applicable law.
Student data and classroom privacy
Do not enter student personally identifiable information into SchoolGPT. This includes student names, IDs, grades, test scores, health information, disability status, disciplinary records, or other details that identify a specific student.
If you use SchoolGPT on behalf of a school or district, you are responsible for following your institution's privacy rules and applicable education privacy laws.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use SchoolGPT for illegal, harmful, deceptive, or abusive activity.
- Attempt to bypass security, rate limits, subscriptions, or access controls.
- Share your account with others or resell access without permission.
- Upload malware or attempt to disrupt SchoolGPT systems.
- Use generated content in a way that violates school policy, privacy law, or intellectual property rights.
Your content and generated outputs
You keep ownership of the prompts, files, and classroom materials you submit. Subject to applicable law and third-party rights, you may use generated outputs for your educational work.
You give SchoolGPT permission to process your inputs and outputs only as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service.
Plans, billing, and cancellation
Some features may require a paid plan. Prices, plan limits, and billing terms are shown at checkout. If you cancel, your plan remains active through the paid billing period unless otherwise stated.
Third-party services
SchoolGPT uses third-party providers for AI model access, hosting, authentication, storage, analytics, payments, and email. Their systems may process information as needed to provide the service.
Service changes and availability
We may update, add, remove, or limit features. We try to keep SchoolGPT reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that every output will be complete, accurate, or error-free.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if an account violates these Terms, creates security risk, causes service abuse, or is used in a way that may harm SchoolGPT or others. You may stop using SchoolGPT at any time.
Disclaimers and liability
SchoolGPT is provided as a productivity tool. To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, SchoolGPT will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to SchoolGPT in the 12 months before the claim.
